“I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans to prosper you, not to harm you, plans for a future and a hope”. God said that in His Word, the Bible.
Yes, God loves you. In this verse, he is speaking to you. He has a plan to help you in your day-to-day life. He doesn’t want to see you sick, confused, lacking financially, just barely getting by. He has a plan to give you a future and a hope for tomorrow.
Why, you may ask, are you, lacking then, in any area? So often, we take matters into our own hands and turn our back on what God wants and we try a different path. If we simply turn around and go in the direction of God, His plan kicks in and we start to live a successful life.
So what must you do to get God’s plan for your life, to go in His direction?
Accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior.
Jesus died for you. He hung on the cross and experienced the shame, the nakedness, the poverty, the death, pain, and anguish of that device of torture. He did it in your place, so that you could be set free and would not have to live in torment. He rose again from death, so that we could have an eternal life with him. He took my place, he took your place, on that cross. For all have sinned and come short of God’s glory.
To accept all that Jesus did for you, you must pray a simple prayer. If you pray this prayer you will receive all of the mercy that God has for you, receive all those plans of an excellent life for you.
Dear Jesus, I am a sinner. I know I need you as my savior. You are the Son of God and you died on the cross for me. I realize that I cannot go on without you. I need you to save me from my life of sin. Jesus, come into my life and take away my sin, be the king of my life. Guide me and show me the plan you have for me. I give my life over to you. Come into my heart today, come in to stay. I thank you God. I ask this in Jesus’ name, the name above all other names, for there is no other name given in heaven, whereby we must be saved. Amen.
If you sincerely prayed that prayer, Jesus answered and came in and is now Lord of your life. You need to find a good Church for fellowship with other believers.
You have put His word to the test and you will see that he will never leave you or forsake you. Your life is forever secure in Him. Our prayers are that God will bless you. I know he will.
